Kalyani Priyadarshan (born April 5, 1993) is an Indian actress who appears in the Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu film industries. Daughter of acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan and actress Lissy, Kalyani began her career behind the scenes, working as an assistant production designer on films like Krrish 3 (2013) and Iru Mugan (2016) after studying architecture design in New York and interning at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Hello (2017), opposite Akhil Akkineni, which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. Following this, she appeared in successful films like Chitralahari (2019) and Ranarangam (2019). Kalyani made her Tamil debut with Hero (2019), and transitioned into the Malayalam film industry with Varane Avashyamund (2020), directed by Anoop Sathyan, where she starred alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana, and Suresh Gopi. The film’s success cemented her place in the industry, and she went on to play notable roles in Hridayam (2022), Bro Daddy (2022), Thallumaala (2022) and Lokah Chapter 1 (2025)
