Biography

Christopher John Blue is an actor, filmmaker and writer born in Paisley, Scotland. His career in acting began at the early age of seven working in various theatre troupes and stage productions in the UK and Canada. Christopher's screen acting career began with his first short film, "A Quiet Time Before Killing" (2001). In 2008 he began his film and television career professionally in commercials. In 2009 he starred in his own short film, "itch" (2010). Shortly thereafter he booked the role of Robert Date in Rafal Sokolowski's poignant drama, Three Mothers (2011), premiering at the Canadian Film Centers Film Festival in Toronto. That year also co-starring as Pete on an episode of the award-winning CBS television series Flashpoint (2011). In 2015 he returned to the industry self-represented and was cast as the bi-polar Police Officer Bradley in Theo Tsana's short romantic comedy, "Meeting Paris" (2015), which premiered at the 7th Los Angeles Independent Film Festival in Hollywood. Shortly thereafter he was cast as Officer Tim Tyler on "A Stranger In My Home" (2016), the Homeless Man in director Ara Sagherian's emotional drama "Things Have Changed Since Kindergarten" (2016), a serial killer named Clay in Rami Nasir's thriller "Subject #7" (2016), a drunk father in Juliana Carpino's "Noah's Truck" (2017) and various zany characters in his own co-created series "The RighterBoyz Presents" (2020). Christopher portrayed Henry Baxter's boss Mike Andrews in Mark Brombacher's devilish horror The Bloody Baxter's (2022). After another 2 years hiatus to complete his screenplay The Silent Key, Christopher returned in front and behind the camera in Gita Galandauskite's short film "Best Friend" (2024), as Chief Pilot Grigoriev in National Geographic's "Mayday: Air Crash Investigations" (2025) and as Hugo Klovach in Peacock NBCUniversal's "The Copenhagen Test" (2025).
