Biography

Andrew Goldberg is an Emmy Award-winning American documentary filmmaker and the founder of So Much Film, a New York-based production company. He has executive produced and directed 17 prime-time documentary specials for PBS and public television, three broadcast series for HGTV, a 10-episode food and cooking series for Magnolia Network, and long and short-form work for CBS News Sunday Morning, ABC News, FOX News, E!, and Food Network. Goldberg's most recent film, "White with Fear" (2024/2025), was nominated by the Writers Guild of America for Best Documentary Screenplay and aired as a PBS prime-time special in March 2026. It holds a 90% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and features interviews with Hillary Clinton, Steve Bannon, Jamie Raskin, and others. His 2020 film "Viral: Antisemitism in Four Mutations," narrated in part by Julianna Margulies, was released theatrically, broadcast on PBS, and is streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Earlier films include "The Armenian Genocide" (2006), "Jerusalem: Center of the World" (2009), "The Iranian Americans" (2012), "Out in America" (2010), "A Yiddish World Remembered" (2002, Emmy Award), "They Came to America" (CINE Golden Eagle), and "Proud To Serve: The Men and Women of the US Army," hosted by Walter Cronkite. Goldberg has been honored with approximately 20 major awards including the Emmy, five CINE Golden Eagles, more than a dozen Telly Awards, the Genesis Award (Guest of Honor), the St. Vartan's Award, and the Joachim and Anne Humanitarian Award. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration
