Biography

Paul Schweller is a filmmaker who was born in Munich and currently lives in Vienna. In 2017, he took over the camera work for the production company “moviejam” and made four documentaries on various topics such as depression and values within society. In 2017, Paul began to express his affinity for mountains on film with "Mountain Tribe" and realized 6 movies since then. His film “metanoia” has been screened and awarded at dozens of film festivals around the world and won the “Best Film Award” in the category “Snow Sports” at the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Canada in 2020. He is currently studying film and media studies at the University in Vienna and works on commissioned and freelance projects.
