José Enrique Castillo (Caracas, Venezuela, July 31, 1922 - June 14, 2018), known as Castillito, was a pioneer of experimental animation cinema in Venezuela. He dedicated his life to the creation of animated short films, using artisanal and avant-garde methods that earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.
