Fred Gord

Biography

Fred Gordon (Dumas, Arkansas 2002 by way of Sierra Vista, Arizona 1997) began his career as film director and scriptwriter in 2021 after graduating with a Communications degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he made his first student film (WHO YOU KNOW) at the University of Central Arkansas under the graduate film program. Shortly before being dismissed from the program, he was writing a script that would be inspired by his friends from his years in undergrad(BEAMTOWN). Gordon has always had a passion for writing, acting and filmmaking from the time he was a kid, but lacked the resources until he’d grown up. In his first directorial debut, Gordon presents BEAMTOWN and is more than eager to dive more into the filmmaking world knowing that this is only the beginning of a great life journey. He is currently in preproduction for his 2nd upcoming film, “GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS” which will be shot in April of 2024.
