# Lara Cinta The story tells of Ameena, an orphan, and Radhuan, the son of a wealthy man. Their love unites them briefly but is torn apart by strife sown by Puan Kirana, Radhuan's mother. Ameena is divorced and takes herself to Sabah. Radhuan's life is empty without Ameena. His heart is imprisoned in an unhappy marriage with Ezaty. In Sabah, Ameena gives birth to and raises Jeffrey alone. Ameena is forced to return to Kuala Lumpur because Jeffrey is critically ill. An unexpected meeting with Ameena causes Radhuan to pursue their love again. Ameena is forced to evade because she is being threatened and blackmailed by her former in-laws. Radhuan's heart is shattered when he discovers that Ameena has been hiding their child all this time, as he had always longed for a son. Radhuan's hatred toward Ameena burns when their child dies in her arms less than an hour after they meet. Ameena leaves, carrying a wounded heart.
