Overview

Jimmy Kilmartin's an ex-con who's trying to go straight. But he can't say no to a quick driving job because his so-called friend's life is threatened. The job is for Little Junior Brown, a violent and powerful villain. When things go wrong, Jimmy is left to do the time, and his whole life is turned upside-down, but if that wasn't enough, the cops won't leave Jimmy alone when he gets out... They want Little Junior Brown.

Conceptually this could've been a solid 1990s crime-thriller, maybe under the direction of Joe Carnahan or something. As it is, it's watchable enough I guess and we do get some minor Nicolas Cage craziness in there but other than that, there's no other great performances including David Caruso who continues to prove with this and later Jade, is not a movie star. And I'm not sure why Jackson took this role especially this coming post Pulp Fiction. **3.0/5**
