Slowly... fanning.... his.... pistol. With the speed he does it, might as well just use your thumb to pull back the hammer and aim carefully. And he the Charlie look alike does it for nearly every... single... shot. But, there is a part at the start of the film where he tries to save a lynching victim that is pretty cool. That you could see happening and added a bit to the story. But otherwise this is a Rene flick. The acting is wonderfully bad, but unlike the last Western of his I reviewed, this looks more like a Western. It doesn't give you the Scooby Doo they are solving a mystery at a Wild West Re-Creation tourist trap, but an actual Wild West Setting... ... I just didn't know the Dakotas looked like that. Or maybe the beginning wasn't supposed to be in the Black Hills. Who knows. It's really hard to tell with a film with this little story.
