Netflix dropped Meredith Hayden's weekly video podcast in late August as a 10+ lifestyle series with Hayden as the only billed name. Three episodes are up. The third is "BBQ and Football with Eli Manning," 36 minutes. A Super Bowl quarterback in a Hamptons kitchen is the guest booking. latestnetflix.com's read is that the magazine that used to reject her job applications is not.
Todd Spangler at Variety broke the Netflix deal as an exclusive on July 8. Hayden, a former New York private chef and ex-Vogue staffer, would cook and talk through recipes, kitchen tips, and the small rituals of making a house feel like a home. Premiere month was August, date still TBA. The Institute of Culinary Education, where she finished culinary arts in 2019, put the date on August 26. Trackers in the UK had the title live the next day with those same three episodes.

Dinner with friends, twice.
In February 2025 Hayden posted a TikTok after Bon Appetit announced a series called "Dinner With Friends." That was the title of her self-directed YouTube dinner-party series from January 2024. She told The Cut she would not accuse the magazine of copying because the name is not revolutionary. She said they should have Googled it. The logo used a pink and red scheme close to hers. The Instagram caption told readers to get on "the group chat," which is the name of her Substack. "The entire situation is extremely disheartening, and just another example of traditional media's unwillingness to properly embrace, acknowledge, and credit digital creators," she said in a statement to The Cut.
Elle asked later how she felt. "I have not thought about that since the first week I posted it." She said she is not a grudge holder. She also said the Bon Appetit Test Kitchen was the blueprint when she was applying to food-media jobs and getting nowhere. The coincidences were "just too many," she told Elle at the time of the TikTok.

Episode 2 is "Adventures as a Private Chef in the Hamptons," 38 minutes on Netflix's own page. Joseph Altuzarra, the designer who hired her as a live-in chef, sits down as the guest.
