Stacy Abalogun is an English-Nigerian actress. Stacy was born in Manchester, England, to a father of Nigerian descent and an English mother. Stacy credits her Grandmother for her initial motivation to become an actress as she encouraged her first steps into dance classes in Manchester at the age of three. At the age of eleven, she performed for HM Prince Charles at the Royal Variety Show. In 2003, she made her television break by starring as Louise in the BBC series of Burn it. Stacy later went on to train as a professional dancer at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and later achieving an MA in choreography from Trinity Laban. Stacy performed on stage as a dancer with Royal Opera North and the Royal Opera House and worked alongside a number of music artists, such as P Diddy, Ludacris and Corinne Bailey Rae. Stacy founded 'Flat Feet Dance', a touring dance company, which later became a charity that worked with children from BAME backgrounds in London. Stacy also produced and choreographed a number of Dance for Screen films before giving birth to her two children. Stacy later trained as an actor at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). A year later, Stacy was nominated for a Black British Theatre Award (2020) for Best Recent Graduate.
