Biography

Thejas Krishna is an Indian composer, singer, lyricist and actor working in Tamil Cinema. He worked as a child artist in 2018 for the film Kaatrin Mozhi. Krishna had a hobby in music; coming from a family of screen actors, he often created beats and was noticed by Santhosh Narayanan in 2021. This lead him to do additional keyboard programming for Narayanan's songs for films such as Gulu Gulu (2022) and Jigarthanda Double X (2023). This changed when he signed on to ThinkIndie as "808Krshna" (a combination of his last name and the musical element for bass). He released his first Indie track, labelled as "Poratta Varatta". This song gained some notoriety as the music video included the last appearance of the late actor, G. Marimuthu. Later on, Krishna made his debut as an additional composer to Narayanan's soundtrack for Karthik Subbaraj's Retro (2025). He was notably credited for his song: "Lose Your Fckn Mind". Alongside that, Krishna also produced additional backing instrumentals for the Coke Studio Tamil project: "Thalaivan Oruvan". This song was co-created by Santhosh Narayanan, The Indian Choral Ensemble, OFRO and Shan Vincent De Paul. From that point on, he signed on to Universal Music India's indie branch, Vyrl. He released his first Indie project featuring singer Sublashini, titled "Paatha Edathila". He is also created as a back-end composer for stock songs, one of which went immensely viral for the Thalaivar 173 announcement, which used one of his tracks. This skyrocketed his fame, leading him to create other backing tracks. This is seen in Ahimsa Entertainment's Logo animation, which uses one of his tracks.
