Your Life is a Joke

A gold Manta, a cream ballad, and no second season.

Oliver Polak sings the theme before anyone has agreed to laugh. The car is a gold Opel Manta GT/E from 1983. The song is a cream-soft ballad he wrote with Carsten Meyer, the producer billed as Erobique. "Your life is a joke / But everything is okay." Christian Ulmen rides shotgun in a worker's cap and cannot decide if he is moved or mortified. latestnetflix.com's view is that Three episodes of this German Netflix original landed on 9 November 2021.TMDB later stamped the title canceled. Chainsaws and a missing pair.

Spiegel watched Polak, then 45, tell Ulmen about the testicles he lost to illness, standing between chainsaws and carpet rolls as if it were a dirty joke that happened to be true. Ulmen hunted for the right face and found one. The same hour parks them in a car wash talking about porn, then in Heiliger See in Potsdam, clinging together because the water is freezing. Ulmen had already said he has people close to him, "but I am actually very happy to be alone." Polak answered that being in the water together counted as luck . Welt spotted the circus kid when Polak balanced a chainsaw on his chin in that hardware store, a mother pushing a stroller past a Hygge wallpaper sign. He told the paper the roast is not there to destroy anyone. "It is about finding the tics and weaknesses. Like a psychoanalysis with punchlines." He said the show mixed the three things he loves most. Talking to people. Singing. Stand-up .

Nura, Weist, then the dump.

The trick is simple. Spend a day with someone famous. Steal whatever they say. Turn it into a set that night. Spiegel called the mix Blind Date, Carpool Karaoke, and roast. The only season's guests were Ulmen, rapper Nura Habib Omer of SXTN, and Jennifer Weist of Jennifer Rostock , . Nura took him to a nail salon, a roller rink, and a fortune teller named Christine. Polak, who is Jewish, let the 88 in Nura's birth year hang in the air and called it a lucky number in Germany. Nura talked about her mother being married off in Kuwait so she would not be pulled into Eritrea's war as a child soldier, then arriving in Germany with four kids. She still had no German passport. She told him she hoped the country would one day want her on the team , . Weist hit the gym, ate ice cream, and talked about her father. Netflix dumped all three parts the same day, each about 37 minutes, German audio with English subs. The official trailer sold it as a rotten Tinder date that ends in a roast , . Polak and Gilad Osterer are credited as creators . Welt printed that the show would play in 210 countries . IMDb users left a 5.4 from a little over a hundred votes. One review begged Netflix for no season 2. SoonOnNetflix now marks that second season canceled. The roast was supposed to be a toast. It read, in the end, like a goodbye , .
