Last year, I praised Film and Jam's series ”To Sir, with Love” as one of my favourites. It was a lakorn with a gay lead couple. ”Laws of Attraction”, however, was promoted by the production company as ”Film and Jam's first BL series”, but again it's also a lakorn, and both Film and Jam's characters in this show are not really ”boys” any more, but grown up men. When Tinn's (Jam Rachata) niece is run over by a politician's son's car, the politicians's lawyer Charn (Film Thanapat) decides to help Tinn find out what really happened. The story has a lot of plot twists and exciting side characters, e.g. the improbable couples of the politicians's son Thaenthai (See Paratakorn) and his bodyguard Thee (Peral Satjakorn) and of club owner Rose (Organ Rasee) and singer Maya (the wonderful Silvy Pavida). The story, the cinematography, the directing, and the acting are all first class, but it's Film's smirk alone that makes this series worth watching.
