Kong Ji Hyeok works as the leader of the Mother TF team at a baby products company. He is sharp, calm, and executes passionately. One day, a team member, Ko Da Rim, suddenly kisses him. This places him in a difficult position because she is a married woman.
Meanwhile, Ko Da Rim is a single woman who needs a job to support herself. She gets a job as a temporary employee at the baby products company where Kong Ji Hyeok works. She lies about her background and states she is married with a child to get hired there. She now works under Kong Ji Hyeok on the Mother TF team. Her only interest is to become a permanent employee there, but she begins to have feelings for Kong Ji Hyeok.
I'm still a little amazed by how cleanly Dynamite Kiss lines up all the pieces of a terrific show, only to kick the whole thing off the table by the end. SBS scheduled Dynamite Kiss to end on Christmas night. Nielsen Korea then handed the show its loudest hour. The December 25 episode hit 6.9 percent nationwide and 7.0 percent in Seoul, with an 8.1 percent peak, the series high. It also sat first among weekday miniseries for a seventh straight week. Samhwa Networks and Studio S signed a 17 billion won production supply contract for the 14-episode run. Kim Jae-hyun directed. Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min wrote it. Jang and Ahn were only considering the pairing in October 2024 and locked as leads in January 2025. Netflix sold the Jeju fling in the official trailer. The actual broadcast still lived on SBS at 21:00 KST from November 12 through Christmas.
The Korea Times said the reason it traveled is the heir. Drama commentator Yun Suk-jin told the paper Ji-hyeok is wealthy and still "sensitive and attentive," not the usual black-card bully who wins by throwing money. Jang told Soompi he did not expect the international spike at all. From November 24 to December 7 the series sat on Netflix's Global Top 10 for non-English shows for two straight weeks.
