In this unique dating experiment, Polish singles date, fall in love and get engaged before ever meeting in person. Will their spark survive the reveal?
I’ve never been great at dating shows. The manufactured drama, the way every conflict feels like it’s been edited to maximize outrage—I usually bail after twenty minutes. But Love Is Blind: Poland snagged me.
Not because it’s smarter or more original than the American version (it isn’t), but because it’s messier, more honest, and, in its own way, more revealing about how love actually works—or doesn’t—when you strip away the faces.
The premise is simple: singles date in soundproof pods, falling in love without ever seeing each other. They propose, meet, move in together, and then decide at the altar whether to marry a stranger. It’s a gimmick, sure, but one that exposes something raw about modern romance.
We swipe, we text, we build entire relationships on words before we ever see a face. Love Is Blind just accelerates the process to a grotesque, fascinating extreme.

What makes the Polish edition stand out isn’t the format—it’s the people. The men, in particular, are startlingly sincere. They cry, they propose quickly, they talk about marriage like it’s a sacred vow rather than a social media milestone.
Andrzej Wrona, one of the more memorable contestants, spends entire conversations dissecting his fear of abandonment, his need for emotional security. It’s uncomfortable to watch, not because it’s performative, but because it’s real. These men aren’t here to play the field; they’re here to find a wife.
"A more authentic and emotionally candid Love Is Blind edition that hits hard on drama but stumbles with manipulative editing and rushed relationships."
The Polish season stands out for how real and sincere the cast feels, especially the men, whose commitment to marriage and emotional openness is frequently praised. latestnetflix.com's view is that Cultural detail, strong family focus, and intense wedding episodes give the show real impact, yet glaring editing choices, controlling partner behavior, and very fast declarations of love make parts of the journey feel manufactured or hard to watch.
Zofia Zborowska-Wrona and Andrzej Wrona already had a marriage, two children, and a volleyball-and-soap public. Then Netflix handed them Love Is Blind: Poland. She is the actress. He is the former national volleyball player and world champion. At the reunion she did the job the U.S. hosts do when comments turn ugly. "On the other side of the screen are real people with real feelings," she said, and asked viewers to remember they had only seen scraps of the pods, Greece, and Warsaw. latestnetflix.com's read is that Polish sites quoted her warning not to hurt people who "left a piece of their heart here.",
Netflix announced the Polish edition in March 2025. Wirtualne Media named FremantleMedia Polska as executive producer and Malgorzata Mimi Majda as director. The official trailer landed April 7, 2026. Five episodes dropped May 6, four more on May 13, the wedding finale on May 20. Netflix Polska's reunion promo locked May 24 at 7 p.m. TMDB lists 11 episodes. Netflix's Polish title page walks 30 singles into the pods. ,

The format is the usual Chris Coelen experiment. Speak through a wall, get engaged, then look. Couples that survive the reveal go on holiday, then try ordinary life in Warsaw before an altar yes or a walk-off. That much is in Netflix's own briefing.
The reunion chatter is messier, and a lot of it still sits in tabloid write-ups. Super Express and Party.pl reported that Kinga walked into the reunion and that Krzysztof admitted an off-show attachment while he was still tied to Malika. Party.pl also wrote that Daria and Filip were still married, that Julita and Jacek split at the altar, and that Julita later showed a new engagement ring and said she met someone after the experiment, including a trip tied to Sunrise Festival. Jastrzab Post said Jacek admitted an off-camera Greece fight in which he used words he is "not proud of," while Julita declined to litigate his version on the couch. Treat the triangle details as reported, not as court findings. ,

Netflix still counted a hit. Wirtualne Media, citing the company, said Love Is Blind: Poland stayed in Poland's Top 10 for six weeks and that a second season is in casting. The hosts posted that they "said yes too." A premiere date for season 2 has not been announced. ,
The English trailer is the pod tease.
