Priya Jain

Biography

Priya Jain is an American film actress of Indian descent born in Orange County, California. She portrays a U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant opposite Josh Duhamel in writer/director Joe Carnahan's thriller Not Without Hope, starring Zachary Levi. She also plays the role of Sam in director Vaughn Stein's survival thriller The Canyon. In addition, Priya has secured the financing and is a producer on The Canyon. Priya gets a chance to showcase her fighting skills in the TV mini-series Knock Out, and she also plays a flight attendant in director Renny Harlin's thriller Deep Water, starring Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley. An Orange County, California native, Priya began her career as a fashion model, an occupation that also became entrepreneurial when she started her own clothing line - Naked Lynx. Naked Lynx has been featured in several fashion magazines, articles, and has been seen on celebrities and influencers. After receiving initial acting training with the Upright Citizens Brigade, Lesly Khan, Killian, and Judy Kain, she made her film debut in 2017 as Mariam in director Mike Hermos's action/mystery/drama Wildflower. In the same year, she also portrayed a dancer in Dr. Dre's series Vital Signs for Apple TV. Moving to New York in 2019, Priya continued her actor training while also modeling and engaging in intensive stage fighting. In 2020 she started her clothing line Naked Lynx which is still manufactured and sold out of the New York City garment district. Returning to California in 2023 she emerged back into acting when she filmed Not Without Hope, Deep Water and The Canyon all in 2023. She also took the role of Natalie in writer/director/star Caylee Cowan's drama short, Running to Stand Still. While juggling her career as an actress, Priya manages to keep her clothing line thriving and hone her impressive mixed martial arts abilities.
