Commenters on his page asked if he had died. He had not. The sunglasses are not a costume. In 2016, leaving the 7 Machos room at Foro Shakespeare, he told El Alebrije the dark glasses exist so he does not have to look at the crowd. "I could not be on stage if I were seeing the people." Wikipedia calls the long hair and lenses a Kurt Cobain tribute. He started at an open mic at Beer Hall in December 2012. He did STANDparados with Adal Ramones, then Comedy Central Presenta. Before the first Netflix special, El amor es de putos in November 2016, he was still doing voice work. Playboy later printed that friends and brands asked him to change that first title. He kept it. Thirteen days after Furia ñera dropped, he sat with David Broncano on La Resistencia. Campos's IMDb bio says he directed 24 Netflix Original comedy specials across Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile. Furia ñera was one hour in that factory. Nacionflix later called Ballarta the first Mexican comic with three Netflix specials when Falso Profeta arrived on 18 November 2021. In 2022 a Twitter user tried to get this hour pulled over a 30-second HIV one-liner. Ballarta's own defense named the runtime. "A one-liner of 30 seconds, in a work that lasts 1 hour with 2 minutes."
