Overview
Haunted by past trauma, Hathaway Noa is drawn to a mysterious girl named Gigi Andalucia, whose strange powers stir memories within him. While swayed by her cryptic words, he continues preparing for Mafty's mission -- the attack on the Adelaide Conference. Meanwhile, Kenneth Sleg of the Earth Federation Forces prepares a defense operation for the Adelaide Conference and a plan to eliminate Mafty and is approached by Handley Yoxon of the Criminal Police Organization with a secret proposal. As Hathaway and Kenneth pursue their respective goals, Gigi also sets off for Hong Kong to fulfill her own role.

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY The Sorcery of Nymph Circe understands that dread is more cinematic than destruction. At 115 minutes, in the hands of director Shukou Murase, this Netflix middle chapter treats the coming attack on the Adelaide Conference as a weight pressing down on every conversation, every glance, every silence. The Xi Gundam and its rivals exist.
They thunder when required. But the camera would rather stay inside a room where Hathaway Noa can no longer tell whether he is being seduced or sentenced.
That ambiguity is Gigi Andalucia. Haunted by the death he caused and the cause he claims, Hathaway drifts toward her because she seems to hear the memory he cannot speak aloud. Her strange perception stirs his past trauma and scrambles his judgment at the exact moment Mafty needs him clear.
While she pulls at him with cryptic warnings and playfulness, he keeps preparing for Adelaide. On the other side of the wire, Kenneth Sleg readies the Federation defense of the conference and a plan to erase Mafty, only to be drawn into a secret proposal from Handley Yoxon of the Criminal Police Organization. Gigi then moves toward Hong Kong on an errand of her own, and the film lets that departure feel like a spell being cast from a distance.
